The Oltarno is the neighborhood in Florence where artisans have worked for centuries, and our name reflects our mission of working with growers in Italy who are dedicated to the craft of making beautiful wine and, like great artisans, helping the raw material to show its best self. Our estates are small like us and family run.

We are based in New York and work with a network of distributors throughout the United States who focus on unique wines from passionate growers. We are able to offer the highest quality wines at more attractive prices than traditional importers because of our size and our direct import approach.

The Oltrarno neighborhood has always been the alternative side of the river, and in this changing market, we provide another option for likeminded producers.
